Forecast Discussion: Friday’s Forecast: After a brief period of clearing and drier conditions Thursday afternoon, unsettled weather will return for Friday. Increasing clouds and chances for showers will limit temperatures to the low 70s and hold ozone concentrations inside the good range. Onshore flow will also help to provide good air quality for the day. *** Extended Outlook: After sunny and hot conditions last weekend, rain showers likely on Saturday and chances continuing on Sunday will provide not as pleasant first weekend of summer weather. Ozone concentrations will remain inside the good range on Saturday and may reach the higher end of the good range on Sunday if there is enough afternoon sunshine. Concentrations will next have a chance to return to moderate levels once high pressure returns Tuesday/Wednesday. Temperatures will be close to their normal values with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low 60s over the extended portion of the forecast period now that we are officially in the summer season. --- Roble
