Forecast Discussion: Attention: Kootenai County Fire District has issued a fire safety, outdoor open burn ban for all of Kootenai County. The Summer Burn Ban is in effect from 7/29/16 until conditions improve in the Fall. If you have questions call the Kootenai County Fire and Rescue Admin. Offices at 208-777-8500. *There are no air quality oriented burn bans currently, but there may be fire safety burn bans or restrictions in place. Contact your local fire protection district before conducting any outdoor open burning.* Forecast Discussion: A slight weather change is in store for the weekend. Temperatures will cool off and winds will increase as a dry cold front pushes through the region. The winds will clear out pollutants that have been slowly building for the last few days. Air quality will remain in the GOOD range for all areas over the weekend.
