Forecast Discussion: Saturday and Sunday, warm temperatures and partly to mostly sunny skies will support ozone production in Louisiana. However, light southeasterly to esaterly winds will aid pollutant dispersion, and isolated thunderstorms each day will increase atmospheric mixing. These conditions will lead to Good to low-Moderate AQI levels in most cities on both days. Monday, a surface high pressure system over the south-central U.S. will generate light to moderate northerly winds, continuing to aid pollutant dispersion. Therefore, AQI levels will be Good in most locations.
