Forecast Discussion: At 2 p.m. EDT this Friday afternoon, drier air is moving into the area on northwesterly winds. Air quality remains on the good side. Ozone concentrations will increase a bit over the weekend, and some locations could flirt with the moderate threshold by Sunday. Increasing convection Monday into Tuesday might prevent ozone from reaching moderate values, and by the middle to latter part of next week, the air will cool some, but still not too far from normal readings to start September.---McAuliffe
