Forecast Discussion: Friday, June 15th – Today should be mostly sunny with seasonal temperatures, but an approaching weather system will bring increasing clouds this evening followed by a chance of showers and thunder storms developing later on Saturday. Breezy gusting winds will follow the system going into Sunday, which should provide warmer drier air and mostly sunny skies through Monday. Poor night-time ventilation will allow fine particulates (PM-2.5) to increase at night, while warmer sunny days may allow increased ozone levels later in the weekend. Seasonal temperatures and unsettled conditions should keep air quality in the AQI-Good range on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but the return to light winds and warm sunny weather may cause air quality to reach the AQI-Moderate range at times on Monday and Tuesday. /MCKAY
