Forecast Discussion: At 2 p.m. EDT this Tuesday afternoon, high pressure is bringing sunshine to the area. With plenty of dry air and a northerly flow, ozone levels remain in the good range. A couple of thunderstorms are likely late Wednesday into Wednesday night as a cold front approaches. Cooler air will move in behind the cold front Thursday into Friday. Enhanced mixing will keep ozone formation to a minimum later in the week. High pressure will continue to hang on through the Labor Day weekend with good air quality continuing.---McAuliffe
