Forecast Discussion: A strong and slow moving cold front approaches on Tuesday, with RI feeling the effects with mostly cloudy skies, humid with highs in the low 70s, steady southerly winds, and showers or thunder likely. Air quality very GOOD with good mixing and winds off the ocean. A repeat on Wednesday, as the front continues to move east. The front should begin to clear overnight Wednesday, into Thursday, with drier air behind it and some breaks of sunshine, but with cooler high temperatures to around 60F. Continued GOOD air quality.
