Forecast Discussion: For Friday, a cold front will be settling through Southern New England from the north late evening. Prior, temperatures will be quite warm, well into the 80s, with lots of sun. Conditions look favorable for ozone to reach well into the MODERATE range, especially in southern reaches of the state. Overnight Friday, a cold front passage will make for a major shift in weather, with cool dry air ushering in Saturday and Sunday, with a taste of fall, temperatures in the 60s. Air quality expected to be very GOOD.
