Forecast Discussion: A strong Northeaster impacting Rhode Island, but thankfully without the heavy snow. Rain showers on Tuesday will be tapering off, while windy weather continues, highs in the mid 40s. Air quality will be very GOOD. Sun returns on Wednesday with comfortable temperatures in the mid to upper 40s and lighter southwest winds developing. A weak fold front approaches Thursday, but with no precipitation expected, highs again in the upper 40s. Fine particles late Wednesday and early Thursday could approach MODERATE. A bit colder weather expected for Friday.
