Forecast Discussion: Fall-like weather has settled over the Triad today, with persistent northeasterly winds keeping air quality levels from rising out of the middle Code GREEN range. After a chilly start tomorrow morning, calm winds and increasing temperatures should help elevate ozone and particle pollution levels into the middle to upper Code GREEN range. Low dispersion of pollution particles is expected for Thursday and Friday, as high pressure begins to slide offshore. This should allow for some warmer weather into the weekend and elevate air quality levels into the middle to upper Code GREEN range. (Payne)
