Forecast Discussion: Ozone and particle pollution remain code GREEN, Tuesday, with a clean air mass settled across the region. High pressure, just to north of NC, will slide east during the week, to a position off of the coast, Friday. Sunny skies, light winds, and warming temperatures Wednesday and Thursday will allow for greater ozone production and a rebound to code YELLOW both days. By Friday, a moist, maritime flow will become established leading to greater afternoon and evening instability and lower code YELLOW ozone levels. Particle pollution will remain low and code GREEN throughout the forecast period (GENTRY).
