Forecast Discussion: Snow and rain on Wednesday will allow only threshold Good/Moderate conditions in the urban corridor, with Good air quality elsewhere. With new snow cover over northwestern areas of the state, fine particles will see an increase in concentration over the coming days. For Thanksgiving Thursday, fine particles will increase to the low-end Moderate range. Despite an airmass change Friday, fine particles are expected to continue in the low Moderate range. In to the weekend, fine particles are anticipated to continue an upward trend to the middle Moderate across much of the eastern half of the state Saturday and Sunday. - MDE
