Forecast Discussion: Air quality will remain in the Good range from Wednesday as strong winds from the northwest and cooler and drier conditions will be in place following Tuesday’s frontal passage. Thursday may see a slight increase in fine particles with winds weakening due to a high pressure overhead, but remain in Good AQI. On Friday, another cold front swings through the region increasing cloud cover with a chance for rain showers. Fine particles in central to eastern Maryland may reach the low Moderate range while other areas will remain in the Good range. - MDE
