Forecast Discussion: On Sunday, central Indiana received about 10 inches of snow. PM2.5 readings have been moderate overnight. Some snow will melt today with sunshine brought from high pressure today. A strong low level jet will continue to increase temperatures. The cold front will retreat back as a warm front such that precipitation may start as freezing rain Tuesday. Heavy normal rain will follow, as much as an inch and a half. The snow pack, frozen ground and heavy rain should cause flooding in some areas. Then another blast of cold air is in store Wednesday and Thursday with snow and or sleet.
