Forecast Discussion: Air quality forecast northern Indiana issued Monday, September 15, 2014 for Tuesday, September 16 - Thursday, September 18. A continuation of good air quality for ozone for all regions of northern Indiana through Thursday with fine particulates (PM2.5) in the moderate range on Wednesday. Wind speeds will become light to calm Tuesday evening/night into Wednesday morning increasing PM2.5 concentrations by Wednesday. High temperatures still too cool for ozone concentrations to increase above the good range during the period Tuesday through Thursday. The next air quality forecast update will be on Thursday.
