Forecast Discussion: Ground-level ozone is on track to stay in the code GREEN range on this Sunday afternoon. A cold front will enter the Upstate Sunday night and move slowly SE'wd through South Carolina on Monday. Cooler and drier air will filter in behind the front, so northwestern parts of the state should see a dry, sunny day with light winds from the north. A stray shower or storm could pop up over the southeastern half of the state, but more sun than clouds is still expected. Even so, ozone production will struggle with the influx of a fresher air mass, and code GREEN conditions are anticipated once again for all zones on Monday.
