Forecast Discussion: All monitors across the Palmetto State are showing code GREEN ozone conditions on this Monday afternoon, and that should continue for the remainder of the day/evening. A cold front will sweep across South Carolina tonight and be offshore on Tuesday morning. High pressure will build in behind the front during the day bringing cooler, drier air and mostly sunny skies. The incoming air mass will be quite clean, which, together with decent vertical mixing should keep ozone readings in the code GREEN range across the state again on Tuesday.
