Forecast Discussion: FIRE SAFETY BURN BANS OR RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT FOR MOST AREAS OF NORTH IDAHO. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT PRIOR TO CONDUCTING ANY OUTDOOR OPEN BURNING. Smoke from wildfires in and around the western U.S. and Canada can move into the area and degrade air quality rapidly. Be aware of changing conditions to protect your health. The upper level trough that has been bringing us the cooler weather will push on out of the region late Tuesday. One more day of breezy conditions with widespread chance for showers and thunder storms. Air quality is forecast to be in the GOOD range for all areas through Tuesday.
