Forecast Discussion: Wednesday's Forecast: The skies will turn mostly sunny as an area of high pressure builds in over the Northeastern US. The positioning of the high (initially to our north and west) will help to keep the flow out of the north. The northerly flow will, in turn, funnel in a cooler, drier air mass. Ultimately, expect highs to peak in the 70s. Ozone levels will be impacted by the new air mass building in from the north. This drier air mass will be relatively void of precursor pollutants. Therefore, expect ozone to have a hard time rising out of the good range. --Nolan |
