Forecast Discussion: A cold front coming through the area Thursday morning will bring in a cleaner air mass than recent days. This will last through the late week period. Ozone averages will fall to the upper good range with the drier air moving in. High pressure with very dry air on Friday will keep ozone levels at upper good levels despite sunshine. An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible Saturday as a weak frontal boundary moves through. As a result, ozone will remain at upper good levels. The best chance for moderate ozone will come early next week with the approach of the next cold front, and behind this front will come a little cooler and drier air for the middle of next week.---McAuliffe
