Forecast Discussion: Current Conditions: As of 2 PM on Wednesday, partly sunny skies prevail over the region as high pressure begins to lose its grip on the region. Right now, a frontal system is poised to push into PA from the north. This front, coming into contact with the warm and humid conditions over our area, is likely to touch off a shower or two as it moves through western PA. Temperatures are hovering in the low to mid 80s with dewpoints near 70. The clouds continue to hold ozone in the good range. Expect air quality to persist in the good range tomorrow as a cooler and drier air builds in late. *** Thursday's Forecast: So for Thursday, expect mostly cloudy skies to persist for much of the day as a frontal system drops southward across our area. This frontal system is slated to touch off some isolated showers as it moves off to our south. Once it pushes through, winds will pick up out of the north and cooler and drier air will filter in. Highs will be in the 70s. The strong winds will create enough mixing while the cloud cover creates enough shelter from the sun to help keep ozone within the good threshold. --Nolan
