Forecast Discussion: November 28 - Good air quality is forecast across the Garden State due to northwest winds and chilly temperatures. November 29 - Fine particles are forecast to reach the moderate category for metropolitan southwest and northeast New Jersey as winds shift to the southwest and warm air filters in aloft, favoring inversion conditions. The remainder of the Garden State will have good air quality as cold temperatures continue. November 30 - Moderate fine particulate levels are forecast for most of New Jersey as southwest winds continue and temperatures and humidity increase. December 1 - Moderate fine particulate levels are forecast for metropolitan northeast and southwest New Jersey due to humid conditions. Air quality for the rest of the Garden State is expected to improve to good levels due to westerly winds and rain showers.
