Forecast Discussion: Friday, light southerly winds will gradually transport clean air into Louisiana. Furthermore, scattered thunderstorms will enhance atmospheric mixing, and partly to mostly cloudy skies will limit ozone formation. As a result, AQI levels will be Good across the state. Saturday and Sunday, light, variable winds will limit pollutant dispersion throughout the region. Therefore, despite partly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms each day, AQI levels will be Good to low-Moderate on both days.
