Forecast Discussion: A cool easterly flow coming off cold ocean temperatures equals cool weather. A weak cold front will pass offshore early Saturday resulting in nothing more than some cloudiness and winds out of the northwest, with GOOD air quality. The sun will pop out bringing temperatures close to 60. Cooler Sunday as winds veer around again off cold water resulting in temps in the 50s and GOOD air quality. High pressure will settle nearby Monday, with lighter winds, less mixing, and a possibility of air quality nearing, but most likely not reaching MODERATE on the AQI due to PM2.5, with seasonable temps in the 60s. Slightly warmer Tuesday, and we could see PM2.5 again approach moderate, especially around Providence.
