Forecast Discussion: Sunny skies and light winds are allowing ozone concentrations to climb on this Thursday afternoon. Ozone will likely peak in the upper green to mid yellow category statewide. High pressure remains firmly in place on Friday. Mostly sunny skies will again be the rule as the atmosphere remains rather dry and stable. Hot temperatures, light winds, and emissions from holiday weekend traffic will force a bump up in concentrations. Expect concentrations to peak in the mid to upper YELLOW range on Friday with Trident remaining GREEN.
